VOLUNTEERING:

Volunteers make it all possible at both NDFC and NDBA!

North Delta FC and North Delta Baseball Association are not-for-profit clubs that rely on volunteers to coach teams and help both on- and off-field so that we can keep our registration fees affordable. We also love having our community involved in our programs!

For the Adaptive Multi-Sport Program, our players are supported by 1-1 volunteers as they participate in activities and get to know each other. We encourage interested youth and young adults to contact us and learn more about volunteering in our adaptive programs! Volunteering requires a weekly commitment and confirmation of community services hours is available. Our volunteer coaches and technical staff will be on site weekly to lead programs and assist our volunteers throughout the season.

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS?

.

Our Adaptive Multi-Sport Program (AMP) is a fun participation-based program that focuses on team sports skills without being placed on a team. Designed specifically for children and youth with disabilities who enjoy sports but prefer to have their own successes without the pressure of a team, practices, games, and competitive environment.

Participants will have the opportunity to choose preferred activities and stations including soccer, badminton, basketball, and other sports. They will be supported by coaches and 1-1 volunteers, while parents/caregivers can cheer on from the sidelines.

The main objective of AMP is to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun experience for the players (and our fantastic volunteers). The program gives an opportunity for the inclusion of children with disabilities in community sports programming, youth leadership roles, and a place for families to meet and foster friendships.

AMP is offered as a collaboration between the NDFC and the North Delta Baseball Association (NDBA), in partnership with the City of Delta.
