CLUB/RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

U5-U10

All teams at the minI level will follow a club curriculum. Coaches will receive professional instruction on coaching philosophy, organization, and session structure through the clubs' coach development program provided by our Technical Staff.

The curriculum of the Mini Development Program is designed to meet the learning objectives of Learning to Train (Stage 3) of the CSA’s Long Term Player Development Pathway. By allowing the professional staff to support every player/coach in these ages, it ensures that everyone receives a consistent coach and player development seasonal plan.

U11-U18

Our U11-U18 club program will participate in one training session and one game day per week.  The season runs from September to February/March.  The club’s goal is to provide resources to all players, and help players and teams reach short and long term goals of development, through our extensive partnerships, training, academies (if registered), and player development. During the season, players are expected to attend practices once a week and play one game per week (boys play games on Saturday and girls play on Sunday) with a volunteer team coach.

As the need for technical proficiency continues, players of these age groups and levels will participate in a Technical Development program for technical/tactical practice sessions, “possession with a purpose”. This methodology ensures the developmental priorities of the player's technical and tactical needs are being met. The training for this program includes dribbling, turning, passing & receiving, and shooting.
