Job Posting: Administration Assistant


The NDFC Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing direct support to ensure the effective and efficient administration of NDFC’s programs, in particular the registration program. The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Executive Director (ED) and works directly with the NDFC Administrator and Registrar, in conjunction with the NDFC Board of Directors (the Board) and other NDFC staff, to assist with future planning and direction of the club while following its mandate.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication, planning and organizing skills

  • Ability to work and thrive within a team environment

  • Ability to manage priorities and achieve goals and targets

  • Passion, energy, initiative, and creative thinking

  • Strong proficiency in various software platforms and programs (Google Suite, MS Office) to prepare and update documents, reports, budgets and presentations

  • Proficient in using Power Up as the club registration program

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Successful criminal records check

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides back up support to Club Registrar for registration tasks

  • Works with Club Registrar with the assessment process

  • Coordinators Volunteer Program

  • Event Coordination throughout the season

  • Coordinates Coaching Accreditation with BC Soccer

  • Processes CRC's for all staff and volunteers in the registration

  • Ensures all ID Cards are completed and processed within deadlines

  • Coordinates photo day schedules for the Spring and Fall Season

  • Coordinates U5 Program/Spring & Summer Camps

  • Provides support to staff as required

  • Other duties as assigned

Hours of Work - this is an independent contractor position with total hours consistent with part-time employment. Hours of work will be primarily during weekday afternoons and evenings, and on weekends. The specific number of hours each week may vary depending on the Club’s requirements and what is required to deliver the agreed upon programs.
